St. Anthony Charities
St. Anthony Charities is the name given to the social ministry work our parish takes part in. When parishioners give to St. Anthony Charities, financially or by donations of food or household goods, they are doing the corporal works of mercy. The following charitable works fall under the St. Anthony Charities umbrella. Look for special envelopes for St. Anthony Charities in your envelope packet or write "St. Anthony Charities" on the memo line of your check. Through your financial donations to St. Anthony Charities we support Sandhills Coalition for Human Care, the Life Pregnancy Center, Family Promise, and our Parish Food Pantry. Here are some other St. Anthony Charities ministries that need your help.
Emergency Food Pantry

Give-a-Gift Christmas Program
The Give-a-Gift Christmas program is available to assist families of parishioners who are undergoing temporary financial or medical concerns that will make it difficult for parents to provide Christmas for their children. Please call the parish office. Names are kept confidential. Families must call directly.
Beginning in November, parishioners who wish to make someone's Christmas a little brighter through our Give-a-Gift program, may take a gift tag from our Angel Tree located in the back of the church. After purchasing the gift listed you will return your wrapped gift with the tag securely attached and return it to the parish office.
As Family Promise has acquired its own facility to host families, we are no longer hosting women and children at our parish facility. However, the needs are still there for volunteers willing to assist in a variety of tasks that serve the needs of the women and children who participate in the Family Promise program.
