St. Anthony Choir

Music is an essential element in the life of St. Anthony’s Parish. Because of this, we want to encourage participation from all people who feel called to give of their time and talents in the effort to enrich the worship experience at Masses and prayer services throughout the year.

The parish choir sings at the 11 a.m. Mass, and other special ensembles sing at various times during the month. Additionally, we always have a need for cantors and instrumentalists.

If you have any questions about the music ministry, we encourage you to reach out to Jeremy Dixon, Director of Music.

Our cantors lead the congregation in hymns and responses during weekend Masses and sometimes sing at funerals and weddings as well. We couldn’t get by without the beautiful contribution of these faithful singers!

If you are interested in joining the cantor pool, please contact Jeremy Dixon to get more information and set up a meeting.

Parish Choir

The parish choir is the primary vocal ensemble at St. Anthony of Padua and performs weekly at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. We invite all adult and teenage parishioners to participate; no previous experience is necessary. As a choir, we embrace a wide range of musical styles from chant to contemporary. Join us for our rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

Teen Choir

An offshoot of the parish choir, our teen choir has the opportunity to plan, practice, and lead the congregation at one 11:00 a.m. Mass per month. The group chooses hymns and anthems, holds rehearsals as needed, and performs on the third Sunday of every month. We highly recommend that our teen choir members also participate in the parish choir, although this participation is not mandatory.

Young Voices Ensemble

For special occasions, we will invite children in grades 3–8 to sing in our Young Voices Ensemble. Watch our News page or contact Jeremy Dixon for details about the next opportunity to participate in this children’s choir.
