New Website Launch

We invite everyone to be part of an important parish event. We are having a launch event for our new parish website on Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. in the parish hall. During the launch event, we will present the various features of our new website. We will serve light refreshments, and we will draw various door prizes. Please be sure not to miss this important event.

StAY Catholic Youth Group Welcome Night

Our StAY Catholic youth group welcome night scheduled for Wednesday, September 19 has been postponed until Wednesday, September 26. We will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the St. John Paul II School Tru-Legacy building on Camp Easter Road. Please visit our StAY Catholic Youth Group for Teenagers page for more information.

The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady

Our parish will be presenting a DVD by Father Donald Calloway, The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady. Father Calloway traces the history and development of the rosary through great Saints beginning with St. Dominic in the 13th century, continuing with St. Louis de Monfort, Pope Leo the XIII, Lucia Dos Santos, St. Maxillian Kolbe, and many more. Father Callaway will discuss great miracles, battles, plagues, and schisms as the powers of evil attempt to destroy this powerful spiritual weapon.

Pope Leo XIII said, "The rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is no more excellent way of praying."

St. Anthony will present Father Calloway's DVD on Wednesday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m., in the Parish Hall. We are offering this inspiring program to deepen our parish prayer life.

Unlocking The Mystery Of The Bible

If you would like to have a deeper relationship with God and a better understanding of your faith, then join us for Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible. This bible study program is designed to help you uncover the story woven through scripture with a clever narrative approach and ingenious color-coded bible timeline. It is a great way to get the “big picture” of the bible and see how our Catholic faith is rooted in scripture. You’ll see how the bible reveals God’s loving plan for your life, and you will learn helpful ways to put your faith into practice.

The study will take place in St. Anthony's parish hall over the course of eight sessions and will include a series of informative and engaging half-hour videos followed by a lively group discussion. Meeting times are 6:30–8:00 p.m. on the following Monday evenings: August 27, September 17, 24, and October 1, 15, 22, and 29. You can sign up for the study online or email Teresa Hanf.

You will not only benefit personally from being part of this study. You will also help to bring about a profound renewal in our parish as we grow closer to Christ!

Please come join us!
